Der Serena Business Mashups connector für Mylyn ermöglicht Softwareentwicklern die Anzeige von SBM Änderungsaufträgen innerhalb der IDE Eclipse. Technisch basiert der Connector auf dem SBM web services interface und greift darüber auf die SBM Instanz zu. Der Connector hat den Status „experimentelle Software“ und ist nicht für den produktiven Einsatz getestet.

SBM4Mylyn Installation Guide

Prerequisites:

1. Active Internet Connection

2. Eclipse Helios

3. Java 6

SBM4Mylyn has been tested against Eclipse Helios R2. You should also make sure, that the IDE is up to date and the standard Helios Update Site is active.

To set up Eclipse update sites, go to „Window → Preferences → Install/Update → Available Software Sites“. You should have at least

• http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios

• http://download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/helios

as active Update Sites. Optionally you can also add Subversive related sites. Next, go to „Help → Check for Updates“ and update your IDE componentes to latest version.

Adding Brutex Network Update Site

Go to „Window → Preferences → Install/Update → Available Software Sites“ and add a new site as shown below:

Name: Brutex Network

Location: http://www.brutex.net/updates

Installing SBM4Mylyn

Go to „Help → Install new Software…“ and select „Brutex Network“ from the available update sites dropdown.

Then check the „Mylyn connector for Serena Business Mashups“ software in the category „Collaboration“. Then click „Next >“. Go though the next few dialogs.

Choose „OK“ to install.

You must Restart your IDE

Verifying the installation:

Goto „Window → Show View → Other“.

Search for „Mylyn“ → „Task Repositories“

The „Task Repositories“ view will show up. „Right Mouse Click“ into the view and choose „New Task Repository“.

The installation is complete when the „Serena Business Manager“ shows up.
